Oracle EPM Automate is a command-line utility that streamlines and scripts administrative and integration tasks across Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud. It enables administrators and integration teams to automate routine operations—such as loading and extracting data, migrating application artifacts, and running calculations and integrations—so environments can be managed consistently and at scale.

Key capabilities include:

• Automating snapshot export/import to migrate artifacts between environments
• Uploading and downloading files, including data, metadata, and logs
• Running business rules, calculations, and Data Integration/Data Management rules
• Refreshing cubes and executing scheduled jobs
• Monitoring job status and retrieving detailed job logs for troubleshooting
• Managing lifecycle tasks like application backups and environment maintenance
• Supporting secure authentication and encrypted credentials
• Running on Windows, Linux, and macOS, and integrating with standard schedulers (for example, cron or Windows Task Scheduler)

EPM Automate uses Oracle EPM Cloud’s public APIs under the hood, making it well-suited for repeatable deployments, touchless nightly processes, and CI/CD-style governance. By reducing manual effort and human error, it helps organizations maintain reliable EPM operations and accelerate updates across Planning, Financial Consolidation and Close, Account Reconciliation, and other EPM Cloud business processes.
